Reservations are mandatory, especially for Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
How to Reach Us
By Car
For those arriving from the Autostrada del Sole A1, you should exit at the Reggio Emilia tollgate (it’s impossible to miss, as you will notice the distinctive Calatrava bridges and the modern and splendid Mediopadana Station, designed by the same architect).
Follow all the signs leading south towards Passo del Cerreto or La Spezia.
After about ten kilometers and several roundabouts, you will reach Rivalta.
In the center of the village, there is another roundabout that you need to go through, always maintaining the same southward direction. After just 200 meters, you will see the sign for Agriturismo La Razza on the left. From here, continue to follow the same signs until you reach the Agriturismo in a few minutes.
Although our Agriturismo is situated in the open countryside, it is very close to the historic center of Reggio Emilia and the modern and well-equipped Hospital, Arcispedale S. Maria Nuova, which can be reached directly and in just a few minutes by public transport, for those who require long stays for visits and medical care.
A tip: The road network in Reggio Emilia has changed frequently in recent years. If you have outdated navigational devices, we recommend following our directions.
If you prefer to use a GPS, we suggest typing “Via Monterampino, 7 | Reggio Emilia,” omitting Canali.
Attention! If you want to include the location, some navigators recognize Canali under the name Castello Canali.

By train
Reggio Emilia has two train stations.
Once you exit the old station, you can take the urban bus line number 1, which stops in front of our shop on the Reggio-Albinea provincial road. The bus stop is called “Casello del Cristo” and is the first roundabout after the village of Canali.
After reaching the shop, there is a remaining distance of 1500 meters to reach the Agriturismo, where the rooms and the restaurant are situated.
For those arriving in Reggio Emilia via the new high-speed line connecting Reggio with Milan (1 hour and 10 minutes) and Rome (2 hours and 10 minutes), there are currently shuttle buses that arrive at the old station, where you can also take the urban bus line number 1, as previously indicated.
By plane
The closest airports are in Parma (30 km) and Bologna (60 km). Both are connected via shuttle buses to their respective train stations for further travel.
